Reviews of Hotel Zapata

missingWrote a review on 05 Novrun down
The place needs some serious TLC—everything felt a bit rundown with issues like loose shower faucets and rusty sink fixtures. Room privacy was compromised due to the lack of curtains over windows facing a busy parking lot, and the room setup was frustrating, especially having to haul luggage up three flights of stairs without an elevator. Felt like I got stuck with a room that had more parking lot views than ocean sunsets.

I slept on my towel due to bed bugs, but the beach access was great.

Very clean everything. Those girls work very hard.
The hotel required cash payments, which was inconvenient. I received conflicting information about payment methods, causing confusion. Additionally, the electricity went out often, creating discomfort during my stay.

I enjoyed the beach access during my stay. The breakfast was tasty and included fresh fruit. I appreciated the friendly staff who were helpful throughout. I found the local area vibrant and had a chance to meet new friends. On one occasion, I observed a local tradition that connected me to the culture in a personal way. My stay was relaxing overall.
The hotel amenities were limited, and I did not have hot water during my stay. It was inconvenient that payment was only accepted in cash.

A Relaxing Beachside Retreat with Friendly Vibes

I stayed in a Beachfront Standard room, and it was pretty awesome. The room was clean, had AC, and the bed was comfy enough. Loved having a balcony to sit and work while enjoying the ocean view. Wifi was reliable, too, which was a huge plus. Just a heads up, the furniture looked a bit dated, but it didn’t ruin the vibe. The shower was fine, nothing fancy, but it worked!
